At Steiner selecting the appropriate officer to provide security services at your facility is one of  our primary objectives.  An individual’s experience, training, background, and preferences are evaluated prior to Steiner placing a particular officer at a client site.  Our elite group of security personnel consists of highly trained and experienced security officers and off duty police officers.

All of our personnel including security officers, office staff, supervisors, managers, and executives must meet the following minimum qualifications in order to be considered for employment by Steiner:

  1. Be at least 21 years of age

  2. Completed High School or G.E.D. Certificate

  3. Possess all necessary State of Illinois required security training certificates

  4. Possess current PERC license to work security in Illinois

  5. Possess current FOID card (if armed)

  6. No criminal convictions (Felony or Misdemeanor)

  7. Pass pre-employment drug screen

  8. Pass pre-employment work history check

  9. Pass a pre-employment physical (if required by client)

  10. Pass a driver’s license record check (if required by client)

  11. Successful completion of Steiner’s security training course and orientation
